ModPro S.r.l. (MP) is a young company founded in 2021, building on the 40 years of experience of Modimar, a leader in the maritime industry. Led by engineer Marco Tartaglini, MP includes senior engineers Fabio Capozzi, Andrea Sanzone, Marco Del Bianco, Alessio Camusi, and Gabriele Balducci, along with a team of young engineers.
With over thirty years of combined experience, MP specializes in hydraulic and maritime engineering. The company has worked extensively in Italy and abroad on projects like port design, offshore works, and coastal defense systems. They also provide services such as construction supervision, safety coordination, consultancy, and testing.
The team has been involved in major projects, including the New Container Terminal in La Spezia, the New Breakwater for FSRU Ravenna Terminal (IT), the AbuQir2 Expansion Project (Egypt) and the New Fishery Port in Duqm (Oman). Other notable projects in Italy include the Piattaforma Europa at the Port of Livorno, the MOSE project and redevelopment of ports of Civitavecchia, Cagliari, Piombino, and Taranto.
MP maintains continuous contact with leading companies in the maritime construction field, as well as with the academic communities, and benefits from the collaboration of professors from the universities of Rome. This ensures that MP remains at the forefront, providing advanced technical solutions in the fields of hydraulic, maritime, structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineering.
